The Audacity of Honesty

It seems some eviedence of our Denocratic presidential candidate has turned up of his connections (and service) with a radical leftist organization [ACORN] that promotes socialism. Of course, this has been taught and is promoted in most of our universities and Ivy League schools (whiile American studies and capitalism, how our coutry has risen and functions)! When you hear the word 'socialism,' think Nazi Germany, Communism, for that's what it is.

"Barack Obama's failure to accurately report his campaign's financial records is an incredibly suspicious situation that appears to be an attempt to hide his campaign's interaction with a left-wing organization previously convicted of voter fraud. For a candidate who claims to be practicing 'new' politics, his FEC reports look an awful lot like the 'old-style' Chicago politics of yesterday," stated RNC Spokeswoman Blair Latoff.

And true to form, once Obama was criticized for his past dealings, he did not explain or apologize for his actions, but pointed the finger.

Obama's camp fired back, accusing the RNC of "outlandish conspiracy theories" and pointing out Sen. John McCain was forced to return $50,000 "raised by a foreign national through a number of contributors who weren't even supporting McCain."
Watch out Obama... you should take the logs [sic] out of your own eye before taking out others' specks.

Last July, ACORN settled what was described by the Washington Secretary of State as the "largest case of voter fraud in the state's history." Government prosecutors had filed felony charges against seven ACORN workers, who ended up receiving jail time.

ACORN was also investigated in 2006 for submitting false voter registrations in St. Louis. Nearly 1,500 fraudulent voter registrations were identified in the case, which was tied to at least one campaign, that of Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo. Four ACORN workers were indicted in the case.

ACORN strongly lobbies for gun control, leftist education policies, and the regulation of banks, targeting the lending practices of major financial institutions it sees as "predatory." It has a strong anti-capitalism agenda.

Finally, we hear Obama's truthful confession (though it wasn't intended to be):

"I've been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran Project Vote voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work," Obama told ACORN members in November. Mmmmm. Seems like the virtuous, honest, truthful man who won't practice corruption that I want leading our country!

The presidential mantra has been about bringing 'change,' and Obama will bring it! But IT'S NOT GOING TO BE FOR THE GOOD of our nation, not the way we have historically known it. I mean, seriously, Obama has openely state that he wants to raise taxes on those who provide jobs, making it tougher for them to hire or expand business. He wants to increase government handouts (i.e. healthcare, etc.) which is going to increase taxes, decrease quality of healthcare (see healthcare, Canada), maybe more importantly, TAKE AWAY INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS, and lead more rapidly to the economic downfall of our county.

Kirk Cameron had this to say about the presidential race:

"The hope for our country is not going to be who governs us as a nation; it's really not in the laws that govern us so much as it is in the power of God working in the hearts of people," Cameron explains in an interview with The Associated Press.

Cameron says he wishes he felt better about this year's presidential candidates. "I enjoyed watching Rick Warren's forum with Obama and McCain. You know, it's just one of those deals where you want the godliest man possible in there -- and frankly, I wish I felt better about both of the candidates this year," he adds. [all italics mine]

Cuban author blasts Obama Campaign for Guevara support

Another taletelling sign? You decide...

A Cuban historian and author says it's absolutely "unreal" that two of Barack Obama's campaign offices in Houston would prominently display a Cuban flag with an image of one of the Castro regime's most notorious thugs.

Humberto Fontova escaped Castro's Cuba in 1961, and in 2006 published Exposing the Real Che Guevara: And the Useful Idiots Who Idolize Him. Fontova says apparently some admirers of the Cuban revolutionary are volunteers for Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois). And in several recent reports on Houston's Fox television affiliate, a Cuban flag with Guevara's image can clearly be seen on an office wall.

The Cuban-born author says during the Cuban missile crisis Guevara advocated a nuclear attack on the United States. "He said, 'If the nuclear missiles had remained in Cuba, we would have fired them against the heart of the United States. The Americans are nothing but hyenas fit only for extermination.' The Obama campaign considers this [man's image] an appropriate decoration in their campaign offices?" wonders a disgusted Fontova.

The author was not impressed with an Obama campaign spokesman's response to the controversy, who simply said the Guevara displays were "inappropriate." He says one could only imagine the media reaction if a Mike Huckabee volunteer displayed on a campaign office wall a poster of white supremacist and former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke.


"Can you imagine the media hullabaloo over that? And do you think for even a millisecond that Huckabee could get away with just saying, 'Oh well, that's inappropriate?'" argues Fontova.

Fontova says it is outrageous that Obama reportedly refuses to wear an American flag lapel pin, but some of his supporters can prominently display a Cuban flag with an image of a communist mass murderer.

Is Hillary in the Intrest of the US?

Inightfully candid conservative columnist Cal Thomas has written a column peircing into the inner workings of the "Clinton Machine". Way to go Cal!

Seeking to impose an unworkable plan on an unsuspecting public was bad enough, but the pain Hillarycare supporters were prepared to inflict on opponents demonstrates insensitivity in the extreme. A “confidential” memorandum written on May 26, 1993 by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, West Virginia Democrat, to Hillary Clinton was entitled “Health Care Reform Communications.” The Rockefeller memo suggests Hillary employ “classic opposition research” to attack critics who were excluded by the administration from Task Force deliberations and to “expose lifestyles, tactics and motives of lobbyists” to counter and overcome criticism. Rockefeller also suggested news organizations “are anxious and willing to receive guidance (from the Clinton administration) on how to time and shape the (news) coverage.” Rockefeller seems to accept the notion asserted for years by conservatives that the mainstream media are biased in favor of Democrats and their policies. For many, this will not be a revelation.
